Hundreds of thousands of devotees go to Ganga Talao to seek the blessings of the much revered deity of the Hindu trinity, Shiva. I had the opportunity to attend this colorful and evocative festival on Sunday. Sadly though, most of the photos I took turned out to be slightly murky. I’m really sorry for this. Nonetheless, take a cup of tea, chant Om Namaha Shivay and enjoy this post.

Lord Shiva And Maha Shivaratri

An artist’s depiction of Lord Shiva.

In the Hindu trinity, Shiva is said to be the destroyer of pride, ego, jealousy and evil. Maha Shivaratri is celebrated in India, Mauritius and throughout the world to honor him. According to some legends, it is believed that Shiva kept the poison from the churning of the ocean in his throat. In order to soothe the pain, the priests and devotees started pouring sacred water. This explains why during Maha Shivaratri we pour the sacred water from Ganga Talao in the Lingam. Other legends relate that the 13th night of the new moon during the month of Maagha is the favorite ritual of Shiva. Thus, Maha Shivaratri is celebrated during this period.

Ganga Talao, Prayers And Religion

Devotees praying near Ganga Talao at late night.

Ganga Talao was discovered in the early twentieth century by Pandit Jhummon Giri Gossagne Nepal who believed that it was a symbolic representation of the Ganges. A few years later, devotees started going to this lake by carrying Kanwars. And since then and till today, each year Mauritians go on pilgrimage to this sacred lake. Truth be told, for me prayers don’t mean going to the temple and chant all night. I do believe in God and respect all devotees but prayers also mean working hard and being the best in whatever you do to become a better person, help others and make the world a better place. I also believe that one should not make religion become a boundary because all of us are human beings. We should all respect the religions of each other. And as Navin Ramgoolam rightly said, let us preserve our unity for the progress of our country.

A Concerted Pilgrimage

A group of women preparing the dough for Puris which will be offered to the pilgrims. This photo was taken near a street in Vacoas.

These days, the world has been witnessing a lot of concerted actions like the upheaval and revolution in the Arabian countries to push away the dictators. Even in Mauritius, everyone work together to make sure that the pilgrims have a good, comfortable and safe voyage. This is so inspiring and sincere that you want to give these people a standing ovation. They work day and night and sometimes even risk their own lives for the sake of others.

Some men filling the Puris with various Indian curries like Rougaille and others.

Serving juice, tea and snacks.

Serving food and juice to those travelling in cars. Well, even in cars the journey is sometimes difficult because of the traffic jams and the long voyage.

A few were even serving Briyani and Coca-Cola.

Various associations constructed tents so that the pilgrims can rest. TVs playing religious films were also placed.

Selling bananas, coconuts and other fruits. These fruits are usually offered to Lord Shiva and then distributed among relatives and friends.

At Grand Bassin. Selling religious CDs and books.

At Grand Bassin. Serving tea. Something funny happened there. Actually, I was busy taking this picture when one of the men serving the tea politely asked me, “S’il vous plait, ki zournal ou travay ou?”.

Two policemen. The policemen and the emergency health services did a great job by assuring the safety of the pilgrims. The cleaners also helped to maintain the sacredness of this place. Cheers to all of them!

The Pilgrimage And Kanwars

A group of pilgrims walking towards Grand Bassin. A walk based on sacrifice and discipline.

Pilgrims who went to Grand Bassin on foot started leaving on Saturday and are expected to arrive today. Most of them carried the beautiful Kanwars which are made up of Bamboo and other decorations. Carrying the Kanwars is a sign of devotion to Lord Shiva. Many also went to Grand Bassin by car or bus … Then, they had to bear the huge traffic jam …

A Kanwar with a Murti or statue of Shiva.

Jeremy Clarkson will love this one. During Maha Shivaratri, one can see hundreds of cars with posters of Shiva playing devotional songs loudly.

A Kanwar in the form of a temple.

Another Kanwar in the form of a temple.

Some carried Kanwars …

While others pushed them …

Surprise, surprise …

Flying high …

A Kanwar with the statue of Ganesha, son of Shiva. Legends reveal that he did the rounds of his parents when asked to go around the world.

Resting. The voyage was really long and tiring. So, the pilgrims stopped at a few places to rest.

A Kanwar in the form of the Swastika.

A Kanwar of rather a statue of Shiva himself. Nice miniature of the gigantic one at Grand Bassin.

A Kanwar with the Trishul and Dumru of Shiva.

A Kanwar in the form of the Taj Mahal or a Mosque. Nice depiction of interculturalism.

.

Some Kanwars were so huge that they had to be deviated in order not to be entangled with the power cables.

Small Kanwars. People are encouraged to build small Kanwars because they don’t block the road and cause traffic jams. They are also more beautiful.

Huge traffic jam at Vacoas. Lasted hours …

NTC bus conductor taking some fresh air outside and wondering when he will reach Grand Bassin …

Signboard showing the way to Grand Bassin and distance left.

Road leading to Grand Bassin. Can you believe it? Photo taken after midnight.

Parking was not a real problem because more lots were built, just like each and every year.

Ganga Talao And The Prayers

Devotees at Ganga Talao, venerating Lord Shiva.

I arrived at Ganga Talao after midnight. Fog was all around the place, making it look even more scenic.

Ganga Talao is also known as Pari Talao and more commonly as Grand Bassin. Recently, some even decided to call it Ganga Sarovar …

Empty benches in the garden.

Walking towards the lake.

Most probably, these statues depict the servants of Shiva protecting the sacred lake. The sign above is the Om one.

It was really foggy. Really.

Devotees wearing colorful clothes descending to the lake.

Praying. The silhouette and reflection of the temple.

Praying and the lake.

Fruits, flowers and incense sticks.

A man praying.

Coconuts and flowers in the lake.

Pouring water in the lake.

A view of the lake and the devotees from a higher ground.

Resting Outside The Temple

Pilgrims sleeping before taking the voyage to return home.

Outside the temple, tents were constructed and there were places to allow the pilgrims to sleep and rest. This year, a special tent was also constructed for women. Food and tea were also served by various associations there.

Resting.

Sadly, some people littered the place.

In The Temple

In the temple.

There are dozens of temples at Grand Bassin. They are maintained by various associations and the government. I entered only one of them because it was already late and the crowd was huge.

The entrance of the temple.

Sandals left outside the temple. A sign of respect towards the Gods and the building.

Venerating Nandi, the bull which Shiva rides. In the Hindu mythology, many Gods have their own vehicle and each of them is symbolical. For example, when Ganesha rides the mouse, it symbolizes the conquest of good over evil and also that both the higher and lower caste can live mutually and both are important to each other.

Inside the temple, cutting the coconuts which would be offered to the Gods.

Durga Mata and the Rama Parivara.

Santoshi Mata, Anapurna Mata and Gayatree Mata.

Hanuman.

Radha and Krishna.

Ganesha.

A huge drum. Most probably, it is used during ceremonies.

Bael leaves. These trifoliate leaves are used while worshiping Shiva. They are symbolical to the trident which Shiva holds in his right hand. In fact, there is a legend which reveals that once a hunter was sleeping on a Bael tree during the Maha Shivaratri period. He didn’t eat and tears were coming from his eyes. Below the tree, there was a Lingam and while sleeping the tears and Bael leaves fell on it. Shiva saw this and was really pleased by his devotion and blessed him. Since this day, Maha Shivaratri was celebrated and water along with Bael leaves were poured on the Lingam.

End

This marvelous school surrounded by the Moka mountain range and situated between sugarcane fields strikes again. Kheelesh Poonye and Sooyash Dosonyee are the two laureates from the school.

The two laureates being lifted up and the students cheering.

Congratulations to those two laureates, all those pupils who participated in the exams, the fantastic teachers of the school, the rectors, the students and everyone! I also congratulate all the laureates of the other schools and all those students who participated in the exams. Remember, you don’t need to be a laureate or pass the exams to lead and make the world a better place. As Robin Sharma would have said it,

If you consume oxygen, you are a leader.

Do you know another school where you can find students loving their rector so much?

That guy in the picture is not a laureate but one of the persons behind them! He is our rector, Mr. Mahend Gungapersad. He has been the rector the school ever since its launch in 2003. RTSS owes its success to him. He is the man who inspired and keeps on inspiring the teachers and students. A great rector and a great person as well.

The students gathered, and they were definitely proud to be a member of this nest called RTSS.

As soon as it was announced that there are two laureates from RTSS, the students and teachers gathered in the assembly ground to celebrate. By the way, I was in the class in the second floor when suddenly I heard a guy shouting happily from below, “Aye, RTSS ine gagne 2 laureats!”. Friends started going out and sharing the news with the teachers and a few seconds later … The long bell rang.

A group of students celebrating the event.

When I first joined the school in 2007, most people didn’t even know about the Rabindranath Tagore Seconday School. And when they asked you where it is located, you would replied Ilot. This doesn’t end here because they wouldn’t know about this small village and then you would have to tell them that it is near Pamplemousses. Now, I believe that this peaceful and little village has become more popular because of the school.

Holding hands to move forward together. From left to right, the deputy rector, Mrs. Kavita Bhuckory, the rector, Mr. Mahend Gungapesad, the laureates, Kheelesh Poonye and Sooyash Dosonyee. The chairman of MGI, Mr. Ravin Dwarka, was also present.

The RTSS is a wonderful place, a Shantiniketan to be more precise. Great students, teachers, rectors, friends, gardeners and other non-teaching staff. Here, teachers motivate and inspire us. If you have a problem and ask a friend, he will definitely help you. We enjoy our studies. At RTSS, education does not come only from books. In fact, each year during the Gandhi day, senior citizens of the ashrams and our grandparents are invited to dance, enjoy and eat together. We learn to respect them and next time we would see them standing in the bus, we would definitely offer them our place. You don’t need to perform great acts, small acts matter. Students also participate in plays. In fact, at RTSS, we make better human beings to make a better world.

Firecrackers being lit. I head that there were two boxes full of them which were ordered.

All other schools should emulate RTSS and all of them stand a chance to be like it. I would also like to add that these pupils were not the best at CPE level but they got fantastic results. Gone are the days where we talked only about the so-called elites like QEC and RCC and we tried to worship them …

A few days ago, for the 5th consecutive year, RTSS also got 100% pass at the SC level. Today, we have 2 laureates and 9 pupils ranked. And that also means … 2 days of holidays! Next Monday and Tuesday, we won’t be having school. As they say in Kreol, zoli pont!

To conclude, the Tagorian dream came true. Mari so mari Tagore! But this is just the beginning. Each and every school have the possibility to become like RTSS and make the world a better place. To the all the youngsters out there, we are the present and the future. And we can lead without a title.

Is The Drought In Mauritius A Wake-Up Call To Act?

It’s only a few months ago that you saw your neighbor cleaning his house with a Kärcher. Of course, who really cared about water at that time? You pay around Rs. 200 for it monthly and a hell Rs. 20 for a bottle of Vital water. We didn’t really care about the value of this precious liquid until today …

Mare Aux Vacoas. That’s a photo from Le Matinal, thanks.

Right now, the situation is serious. This is one of the worst droughts Mauritius has ever known. The percentage of water in our reservoirs has decreased to around 35%. The government didn’t take long to take important decisions like banning the washing of cars and buildings. Moreover as from next week, Mauritians will have access to water only once a day.

But is the current drought in Mauritius a wake-up call to act? Definitely, the answer is yes. In fact, we should make sure that we will not suffer much during the future droughts. The government along with the citizens should take various important actions to solve these problems. Some of the solutions could be …

1. Collect rain water and use it to water your plants

That’s the easiest thing you can do when it rains and you’ll save water and money as well. Hey, you don’t have to pay for rain! Just take a tank and let the rain fill it … Then use the water for other purposes except drinking! Another tip, water your plants at twilight. The sun won’t suck the water.

2. Recycle water

Right now, that’s something which is more affordable to the government and companies. Recycle waste water and use them to irrigate plants. That will really help in saving water and also reducing pollution.

3. Stop global warming

I guess, it’s not important to elaborate. You know what you are supposed to do and why you should do so.

4. Educate people

I know, it’s tough to educate Mauritians. But let us try it … By the way, someone told me that a few days ago, he heard a man saying this on the radio. “Bizin dire MBC eduk banne dimoune lor la seceress ek banne mesures ki bizin pren.” Yo, don’t you know what you should do to save water? And there has been so much of sensibilization on it but … 2 selfish n00bs have been recently caught wasting water. Also, what about cigarettes and road accidents? Huh?

5. Plant more trees

Trees help to capture water and retain them.

6. Build more dams and reservoirs and exploit surface and underground water resources

We don’t want to hear someone from CWA saying, “Sel solution seki zotte prier bondier.” Dude please, go and find solutions instead of telling us to pray.

7. Replace the pipes and why not have two pipes

Replace the current fossils with new pipes. By the way, why not have two pipes? One for drinking purposes and the other for everything except drinking purposes. You could use recycled and non-purified water for the other pipe.

8. Desalination

There have been a lot of talking about this recently. It is slightly costly but it could be highly beneficial. Mauritius is surrounded by water, so why not use them?

9. Cloud seeding

This is the last option if things go really bad.

10. Take a bath, once a day

This would be highly beneficial.

On a serious note, stop wasting water! The situation is really serious. Now pray for the rain to arrive! Hope things will get better.

Stay Away From The Mauritian Stalker On Facebook

Stalkers

There are some people who consider themselves to be too smart on the internet. You know, they are the one who spend 24 hours a day on Facebook and they stalk on the people they don’t know. They are going to examine deeply each and every single photos of yours. They are going to visit your profile each and every hour even if they don’t know you. In fact, they love it because that’s their life. They don’t work nor they study. They spend most of their time on Facebook. As we say in Mauritian Creole, zotte contan veillie zafaire dimoune.

Hey, they also talk a lot and they do brag a lot. They will receive a nail clipper and they’ll post a picture of it. They consider themselves to be too smart! They complain on each and every single thing they find. A typo and they’ll be the first one to point it out. The MBC television presenter stammers and they’ll write an update on it. You write something in caps lock, they’ll tell you that it is n00bish to do so. Seriously, why the hell do you have to say that? How the heck can it bother you? Facebook announces a new feature and … They’ll find it to be meh even if it’s great. I bet they don’t know that they are actually no one to say that and they don’t even deserve to be a cleaner at Facebook.

Actually, they are all zeros in real life. And one of them whom am going to publicly name is …

MauriFAIL

I don’t want to link to the site. Why? You’ll know soon. Apparently, the site’s aim was to make fun of things Mauritian do. If you find these things funny, then get a life. Truth to be told, I love humor and sarcasm. I love reading jokes and Shakespearean comedies. But denigrating someone just to laugh is a sign that you have a pea-sized brain! The admin of the site considers himself to be the king of the web. Yep, he has the guts to publish other people’s photos and names without even asking their permission. He is a stalker who might be a big zero in real life.

He also created a forum called FerBourToi, a copycat of another forum. Don’t be mistaken that it is popular. Actually, most of the posts in it are spam ones.

In a nutshell, the guy who goes by the name Gh0st is nothing more than a troll on the internet. He stalks people, denigrates them, makes fun of them, creates copycat forums, and spam them.

The Terrorist

How would you feel if you were denigrated on a public site? Your name and photo would be publicly revealed. Nope, they won’t even blur it. That would be just the icing on the shit. That guy would also humiliate and make fun of you! That’s terrorizing, right? I mean, each and every status of yours would be watched and then posted on the site. You’ll be afraid to go on Facebook. That’s the worst that can happen to you on the internet.

Suppose, you a teen of 14? Believe me, I was a kid and I know how it feels. You are shocked. Some people have even committed suicide because of things like that. This is not a joke and it clearly shows that the admin Gh0st has a pea-sized brain to do this. He is egoistic and does not care about others but only his rubbish sites. He is not only a troll on the internet but a real danger and terror in real life as well! His sites are suicidal and so people can commit suicide because of them!

Boycott Gh0st & His Websites

If you are wise, avoid visiting and sharing the websites I mentioned above. That guy is breaking the Mauritian laws by posting pictures of other people without their permissions. He deserves to be given a huge fine and be jailed.

I don’t know whether my blog is going to be featured on his rubbish site or not. But I had to write this post and warn people about this Facebook stalker. That guy is allowed to do what he wants and virtually no one can stop him. Nonetheless, be careful and don’t add people you don’t know on Facebook. If you added someone you don’t know, then logically you should block or remove him. Make sure that your profile is private as well.

Share The Post And Warn People About It

Also, don’t forget to share this post by clicking here. By sharing it, you’ll help boycotting that dangerous site and warn people about this stalker called Gh0st. Click here to share.

"La gangrène des leçons se trouve dans les collèges."

“La gangrène des leçons se trouve dans les collèges.”

- Vinod Seegum, president of Government Teachers Union. This man spoke my mind.

Does Mauritius Deserve A Better Internet Connection?

Ever wondered the rank of Mauritius when it comes to the download speed of other countries in the world? Here are a few cool things you could do …

Read A Book

I have recently finished reading ‘The Girl the Dragon Tattoo’ by Stieg Larsson. It is a very interesting crime and mystery novel. If you need to know about some more books, check my profile on Goodreads.

Read Some Stories

There are a lot of inspiring stories out there. Some of the best one are from Paulo Coelho. Click here to read them. If you are feeling a little geeky, you can also check Folklore which is a collection of stories related to Apple.

Read Some Tweets

I recommend you to take a look at the tweets of Robin Sharma. They are really inspiring. If you are looking for something funny … Well, check Chuck Noriss. You may also click here to get some more interesting tweets.

Watch Some TV Shows

There is a popular TV show out there known as The Big Bang Theory. I started watching it a few days ago. It is indeed very funny. On the other hand, you can check some epic Top Gear specials like the one in Bolivia. Sherlock, a modern adaption of the character by Arthur Conan Doyle, is not bad either.

Watch A Film

I’m currently watching Harishchandrachi Factory. It’s about the first ever movie made in India. It seems to be very interesting. If you need some more movies, you can check the website of Rajeev Masand.

Send Your Friend An E-card

Remember those days when you used to email your friends an e-card? I’m not talking about real cards here. You could personally email your friend one. Well, it’s great to receive inspring e-cards. It’s better than forwarded emails or tags on Facebook. Well … If you need some inspiring e-cards to send, check those by Paulo Coelho.

Listen To Something Funny

Funny things? Well, check those hoaxes by Hassen. You can also look for those by Francois Perusse.

Go To The Seaside

I was there in the morning. That’s the best place you could possibly go.

Share This Post On Twitter And Facebook

If you still don’t have any thing to do, feel free to share this post on Facebook and Twitter. You can also Disqus below. Have a nice Sunday!

Is This The New Facebook Email?

You’ve probably heard of the new email system which Facebook would be releasing on Monday. Apparently, the login page of this new feature is already live. Check the screenshot below.

You want to try it yourself? Go to http://mail.facebook.com/. Weirdly, the page gets redirected to Thefacebook. However, it also shows that it is supported by Outlook Web App. Moreover, the copyright is dated 2010. So, could this really be the actual login page of the new Facebook email?

Interestingly, if this screenshot is true … It can also be confirmed that the new email will be powered by Outlook Web App. Of course, it sounds rather difficult for Facebook to build a new email system from scratch. So, why not use Outlook Web App? So, now that you know that it will be powered by Outlook Web App, you could probably guess the design …

So, here you go with some more information about the new Facebook email. You now know about the login page and also that it will be powered by Outlook Web App. Till then prepare yourself to get your *@facebook.com email address on Monday. Have a nice weekend!

The magnifying glass

I was feeling pretty bored when I came across this magnifying glass. A magnifying glass magnifies things. That line was purely necessary. Here goes the photos …

Minimalistic …

That’s actually the Ubuntu sticker on my laptop along with the thing which magnifies things.

Le Matinal … Laws gone haywire!

Normally, there is a software for that purpose but I decided to try the magnifying glass.

Sherlock Holmes?

End.

Scholarships for everyone!

Flipping through the pages of Le Matinal, I came across an ad by ‘Les Moulins de la Concorde Ltée’. Actually, the company was congratulating 20 lucky Mauritian bakers.

The bakers would attend a course on bakery in France, sponsored by the company. I believe that this is something worthy and great. The course would enable them to improve themselves and cook better breads which we will all eat. Moreover, they could share what they have learnt with their workers, colleagues and other bakers as well. Now, contrast this with the costly scholarships awarded to students each year …

Why millions are being spent on students who will never return to serve their country … When the same money could be spent on people who are currently serving the population and actually need it?

Aside. Out of the 20 bakers, only 2 are women …

Ras Couyon

Many Mauritian bloggers are writing the following as header nowadays. I guess I should do so as well. Whatever I’m writing on this blog is my opinion, you may have yours as well and you can share them by commenting below. It is futile to do personal attacks or argue that blogging is all about spamming. Thanks.

Today morning, a Rottweiler and a German Shepherd Dog were euthanised. Those dogs brutally attacked three children some months ago. A few days ago, they attacked an employee of MSPCA. The Rottweiler had bitten the employee on the head and face. The situation was so bad that a surgery had to be performed.

Definitely those mad dogs had to be killed or otherwise they would harm other people as well. What I find stupid is that … Some people were against this! How could they possibly be for mad dogs who could kill human beings?

Where were those people when everyone clamored that the uncle who raped and killed the child should be hanged?

Let us go back to another daily cliché of the Mauritian society. A few weeks ago, an uncle raped her niece and burned her alive. Who was not angry at this horrendous act? A lot of people argued again that death penalty should be introduced in Mauritius. In other words, they wished that the uncle should be hanged to death.

Definitely, I believe that the uncle committed a very bad act by raping and then killing the young child. I agree that he should be sent to prison for a long time. However, he should not be hanged for it. The uncle perhaps didn’t realize what he did because he was under the influence of alcohol. I also believe that human beings should be given an opportunity to change.

Let us come back to the Rottweiler saga. Some didn’t want the dogs to be euthanised … They thought that they were actually innocent. I wonder where those people were when everyone clamored that the uncle who raped and killed the child should be hanged … Ras Couyon?

Arrogant Remo D'Souza!

Mauritian students and youngsters did not remain unfazed after an irritating incident took place at the University of Mauritius. In fact, Remo D’Souza and his team are currently in Mauritius to shoot for a movie called Faltu. Now, some students were given the opportunity to do some background roles in the movie. However, they didn’t get paid even if they were promised so. You can read about this incident in more details on Yashvin’s blog.

Seriously, I believe that this is the height of arrogance. You come in a foreign country and you behave arrogantly with the natives. In fact, he said the following to those Mauritian students:

Kick them out!

The normal activities at the university were also disrupted. And definitely, the students were refused to be paid despite they worked for the movie. It is high time to stop being Faltu and arrogant, dude! Anyway, as the wise men rightly said … Appearance deceives! Here you go, your favorite presenter of Dance India Dance is in Mauritius! Take some photos …

Human beings were probably inspired to produce music by the sounds they heard in the world of nature, like birdsong and animal cries, which formed the background of their daily existence.

Holy cow! I hope Cambridge will not sue me for copyright infringement because I actually copied the above few lines from their recent examination paper. Seriously, you can check the paper if you are feeling studious by clicking here!

Now, everyone listen to music. These days, you can see companies like Apple releasing products such as the iPod for music lovers. Everyone has their own taste for music too. Some prefer Kishore Kumar while others prefer A.R. Rahman. We also have Justin Bieber fans and Linkin Park too.

I wanted to share my favorite artists and songs through this post. Actually, it feels good to write what you love and I hope that it is going to be beneficial for you too. The above album cover is that of Robot, the latest album released by A.R. Rahman.

One of the artists I listen to the most is actually A.R. Rahman. I first discovered the amazing songs of A.R. Rahman through Dil Hi Dil Mein. Later when I got faster internet, I started downloading some of his songs and burn them on an audio CD. Recently, I downloaded nearly all of his albums. Some of his albums I recommend are Dil Hi Dil Mein, Dil Se, Connections, Raavan and Robot.

Another artist I really love listening to is Michael Jackson. Truth to be told, I never knew about Michael Jackson until his death. All his songs, albums and live performances are just superb! The single I appreciated the most before becoming a fan was ‘Earth Song’. Some other great singles include ‘I Just Can’t Stop Loving You’, ‘Heal the World’, ‘Bad’ and ‘They Don’t Care About Us’.

Some other artists I occasionally listen to are The Beatles, Nusrat & Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Kaya, Kailash Kher, Pink Floyd, Shakira, Elvis Presley, Linkin Park, Metallica and U2. You can check my profile on Last.fm for other artists.

There are also some tweeps who actually have a very good musical taste and they also share it online. Some of them which I usually take a look at include Saajid, Adarsh and Yashi.

There is also the song Munni Badnam which is currently trending in Mauritius. It’s not bad as a peppy song.

Anyway, thanks for reading. Feel free to share your musical taste by commenting below. Today, I decided to take some pictures of this marvelous creation of Mother Nature.

Indeed, the moon is very beautiful and inspiring.

Definitely, I took out my LG KU250 to take its pictures. By the way, my mobile was successfully repaired some days ago.

The rainbow ran through Montagnes Longue and its surrounding villages before the Port Louis mountain range. It was beautiful and inspiring.

It was pretty difficult to capture the whole of it as it was really long and I had to attend the French literature exam.

Anyway, here are the pictures of the beautiful rainbow. Don’t forget to recommend this article on Facebook by clicking on the blue button below.
